At SJS, we believe that small acts of care for our environment can create a powerful ripple effect for a greener tomorrow. With this vision, the Green Hearts Club (Eco Club) has become a vibrant platform where students, parents, and the broader community come together to promote environmental consciousness and sustainable living.

The club has actively partnered with several renowned organizations, including RAAC, CUBE, G-18 Charitable Trust, Siruthuli, Season Watch, Shanti Ashram, Coimbatore Corporation, and the Indian Foundation for Butterflies.

These collaborations have led to impactful initiatives such as:

• Tree plantation drives
• Cleanliness campaigns in and around the school
• Waste management and composting programs at both school and home
• Creation of green bricks and seed balls
• Kitchen garden sessions for parents
• “Act for Butterflies” conservation campaign
• Cycle rallies promoting sustainable transport

SJS proudly maintains a plastic-free campus, reinforcing our commitment to eco-friendly practices.

Our efforts have been widely recognized and we have received the Green Campus Award twice and participated in Asian Record in the “Born to Fly” event.
