The Madras Dyslexia Association (MDA) delivered a focused six-module teacher training programme to equip educators with the skills to identify and support students with learning differences.

The programme enabled teachers to:

Identify learning disabilities early and understand their academic impact

Recognize key red flags in reading, spelling, writing, and mathematics

Implement effective classroom accommodations and inclusive teaching strategies

Apply the Multiple Intelligences framework to maximize every child’s potential

Through interactive sessions, practical examples, and evidence-based approaches, the training strengthened teachers’ confidence and competence in creating inclusive, supportive, and learner-centred classrooms, promoting both academic achievement and emotional well-being.
