Shounak is a Counseling Psychologist and the founder of Aatmabodh, an initiative dedicated to youth wellbeing and emotional development. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University and has been working in the mental-health field for over 10 years. He works with children and adolescents through individual counseling, group sessions, and programs that strengthen emotional awareness, resilience, and healthy communication. His focus includes adolescent mental health, emotional literacy, relationship understanding, and helping young people build clarity about themselves and their experiences.
Along with his therapeutic work, he has also partnered with schools and institutions to enhance their wellbeing practices by supporting them in creating more psychologically informed environments and strengthening the overall climate in which students learn and grow.Over the years, he has collaborated with parents, educators, and school teams to create spaces where young people feel supported, understood, and equipped to navigate challenges with confidence.
