Our school enrichment programmes play a vital role in holistic education by extending learning beyond the classroom.
Clubs
At our school, clubs play a vital role in nurturing creativity, leadership, compassion, and real-world skills. Each club provides students with hands-on experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.
The book club of the school has members from grade 3 onwards. The club meets periodically to discuss the books read by the students and to participate in the activities organized for that particular week. To encourage maximum participation, books of all genres are provided to the children through an online platform, where the desired book can be chosen. The decision to pick a book is left to the children so as to make the book club as inclusive, engaging, and student-centred, fostering a love for reading and independent choice among learners.
Sanskruti celebrates talent in music, dance, drama, and other performing arts. Students explore various art forms, participate in competitions, and learn stagecraft. The club introduces children to potential careers in the performing arts through expert interactions and workshops. It provides a vibrant platform for expression, creativity, and cultural appreciation.
Clicks allows students to discover the art and science of photography. Members learn camera skills, framing, lighting, and creating videos in the Mass Media Lab. The club conducts photo walks, contests, and creative projects throughout the academic year. It empowers children to express themselves through powerful and imaginative images.
The Quizzers Club nurtures curiosity, quick thinking, and a love for knowledge. Students train through regular quiz sessions on current affairs, science, literature, and global topics. The club prepares participants for inter-school and national-level quiz competitions. It builds confidence, teamwork, and intellectual agility in a fun, challenging environment.
The SEWA Club collaborates closely with Shanti Ashram, giving students meaningful avenues to serve the community. Members participate in national cultural events, social awareness programs, and outreach initiatives. The club regularly donates essential food supplies and daily-need materials to families in need. Through service, students build humility, empathy, and a lifelong commitment to social responsibility.
The Paws and Claws Club inspires compassion, responsibility, and kindness towards animals. Students actively help care for stray dogs, arrange medical support, and work with shelters for safe adoption. The club conducts awareness sessions on animal welfare and responsible pet care. By engaging with real community needs, students learn empathy and humane values.
The school is specially equipped with an art studio called “Shristi”, designed to develop every student’s craftsmanship and creativity. Students engage in various forms of artistic expression such as texture painting, abstract art, and traditional painting styles including Warli, Tanjore, Kalamkari, Miniature, Madhubani, and Pattachitra. The students are encouraged to explore different techniques and mediums, helping them appreciate India’s rich artistic heritage while nurturing their individual creative skills.
The Parampara Club, affiliated with INTACH, helps students explore India’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Students take part in heritage walks, cultural festivals, and conservation-driven activities. The club also organizes educational visits to museums, monuments, and historically significant sites. Through these experiences, children learn to appreciate and preserve the legacy of our traditions.
