OUR FOUNDER AND MANAGING TRUSTEE

SMT. DHANALAKSHMI JAYACHANDRAN

The Educational Charitable Trust was formed and the Institutions were founded by Smt. Dhanalakshmi Jayachandran the daughter-in-law of Late Sri. D. Balasundaram whose mission was to educate society with a blend of Indian culture and values in a state-of-the-art English medium school. The Genesis of this seed of thought can be traced back to one of her visits to Kanchi Mutt when she heard the Paramacharya of Kanchi speak on the dwindling of Indian Culture and the need to be instilled in schools.

This mission started 4 decades ago with the inauguration of Sri Jayendra Saraswathy Vidyalaya in June 1980, a school named after the Kanchi seer and the disciple of the Paramacharya, Sri Jayendra Saraswathy.

Her contribution to this venture is making it cost-efficient and affordable by providing the best education to many first-generation learners. Today we witness her farmland blossom into the most sought-after educational institution which stands proud today as a group of institutions.
